How to use Ledger with Citadel.one
As a non-custodial app that prioritizes security, Citadel.one supports hardware wallets, including Ledger devices. In this guide, we will show you how to easily connect your Ledger to our platform and enjoy the features available on app.citadel.one with your Ledger accounts and enhanced security.
How to connect Ledger to the platform
1. On the “Add an address” page select the “Import”.
2. Then find the “External wallet” tab and click on “Hardware wallet”.
3. Choose Ledger.
4. On your Ledger open the network app of the address you want to create. Select the app you opened on the Ledger in the drop-down list on Citadel.one and click “Select”.
5. In the pop-up window choose the Ledger and press “Confirm”.
If an error appears, check if the app is opened in your Ledger. If it is, but the error still appears, you need to find the lock icon on the right of the address bar, click on it and delete all the Ledgers that appeared. Then you need to complete a hard reload (command + shift + r for Mac) and connect your Ledger again.
6. You can choose a derivation path. If there is already a checkmark on some of the addresses, it means it is already added to the platform. The interface also shows the native token balances for each address.
How to stake
- Choose the address and head to the Stake tab.
2. Click “Start staking”.
3. Set the amount of tokens and press the “Stake” button.
4. Confirm the transaction by pressing the “Confirm” button.
5. And then confirm it on your Ledger.
How to enable autorestaking
- Open the Extention Store and choose the Autorestake app.
2. Choose the token and set the minimum amount to autorestake.
3. Switch the “Off” toggle and confirm the operation.
4. Confirm on your Ledger device.
How to claim your XCT rewards using Ledger
1. Open the XCT token page. In the right upper corner, you will see the “Claim rewards” tab. Click on the arrow.
2. Press the “Claim” button.
3. Confirm the operation on your Ledger device. You will see all the transaction details on the Ledger, check them carefully, and click “Approve”.
The transaction will be done in a few minutes.
