How to Participate in Cosmos Governance | Ultimate Guide

In this guide, we will walk you through three easy ways to vote on Cosmos proposals using Citadel.one, Keplr, and Mintscan.
Note: To vote on proposals on a certain Cosmos chain, you must have staked native tokens of that chain.
Voting using Keplr
Step 1. Open the address of the desired network.
Step 2. Head to the Governance tab at the top menu bar.
Step 3. Select the proposal.
Step 4. Read the description and press the “Vote” button if you are ready to cast your vote.
Step 5. Select your vote from the drop-down list.
Step 6. Approve the operation in the pop-up window.

Voting using Citadel.one
Step 1. Head to the Extension store by clicking on the four squares icon at the top menu.
Step 2. Select the chain you need and then choose a proposal from the list.
Step 3. Check the description, select your vote and click “Vote”.
Step 4. Confirm the transaction by entering your password.

Step 1. Open the page of the desired network.
Step 2. Head to the “Proposals” tab at the top menu and select the proposal you are interested in.
Step 3. Connect your wallet (Keplr or Cosmostation wallet is required) and press the “Vote” button in the left-hand corner of the window.
Step 4. Select the voting option and click “Vote”.
