DYDX Migration Guide

Migrate your ethDYDX tokens from Ethereum to the dYdX Chain to secure the chain, participate in governance on dYdX, and enable staking.

How to do it without any hassle? We have prepared a detailed step-by-step guide walking you through the migration process.

Step 1

Head to bridge.dydx.trade to initiate the migration process.

Step 2

Connect a wallet to generate the dYdX chain address. The “Connect wallet” button is located on the top right corner.

Select the wallet

Click “Send request” to generate dYdX Chain address

Sign the onboarding transaction

Step 3

Enter the amount of DYDX you want to transfer.

Step 4

Select an address to migrate to on dYdX Chain.

• Select “Generated dYdX Chain address” if you are going to transfer tokens to an automatically generated address.
• In case you have an existing dYdX Chain address, select “Send to another dYdX Chain Address” and enter the address.

Then click the “Preview migration” button located below.

Step 5

Check out the migration details and approve allowance.

Click “Approve allowance”

Click “Next”

Click “Approve”

Step 6

Confirm migration.

Click on both checkboxes and click “Confirm migration”

Wait until the transaction is completed

You’re all set. Your transaction should be finalized in approximately 25 minutes.
